THE Quest

Led by the hounds of heaven, and chased by the hounds of hell,
the light is ever before us – yet the darkness never far behind.

Progress is elusive, no time to rest.
Definitions keep changing.
What did we learn today we didn’t already know?

Where is this road going, so fast – torn between
running away from fear and running into the unknown.

Uncertainties of the unknown trigger more fear.
We are afraid to face the fear behind us,
for fear of the light going ahead without us.

The pace becomes more frantic – no more time to rest.
We must reach that ever receding goal, or fail.

Will we be devoured by the hounds of hell if we fail?
They always seem so close.

What if they are only shadows of playful puppies?
Parts of self, pushed away from the light,
just trying to come back “home”. . . .

What if the light is within, and all we have to do is accept, and allow it to flow?
New Wheels Without Getting the Shaft
Put a smile in your day!

Deeper meanings in “THE Quest” cover

Deceptively simple at first glance, the cover is filled with powerful multidimensional symbolism.

The white center represents all colors as the central creative force surrounded with healing green. The title is cast in energetic loving pink.

The foreground image represents a couple approaching each other with an affectionate kiss. Yet their shadows project an entirely different attitude – much like typical people doing one thing, and thinking another.

Finally, the inner structure of the couple represents a classic, caustic description of the the “ideal” relationship: “The rocks in his head match the holes in her head.”

With the right understanding and intent, we can actually bring new healing to all dimensions of self and our relationships.
Who said:  “The main difference between a housewife and a prostitute is the finance plan.?”
Put more love in your life and achieve more than you ever thought possible.

The Quest by Stephen Ruback

Can the war between men and women ever end? According to Dr. Ruback, all people bear a feminine and masculine energy in which the feminine gene has been suppressed. His approach to merge these opposing lifestyles is done in, a creative, playful way. Dr. Ruback fabricates characters that are able to pursue a mission that is entertaining and instructional at the same time.
A dating couple is introduced with the initial personal goal to share the ultimate orgasm. After further analysis, the couple realizes that their quest is more involved than foreseen. Concentration of their efforts on such a small task would be regretful so they expand their journey to find a higher level of awareness. Another couple joins in to collaborate their efforts and again, the quest takes on new meaning and levels of importance. The character's urgency in responsibility heightens and the excitement grows with every new development
The dialogue, in this book is like having a conversation with a friend. You're given exercises to try and activities that are adventuresome. Dr. Ruback's intent to educate people in listening to their own spirituality is done without preaching. His purpose is to pass this knowledge on so everyone can live more happily. Recommended to anyone who wants to-improve his or her quality of life. M.S.

Stephen Ruback’s THE Quest is a uniquely written and “user friendly” self-help guide in matters of love, sex and orgasm. Using a hypothetical anecdote format, from angels debating in heaven to a pair of lovers discussing their quest for a better orgasm, THE Quest traces questions about what love is and isn’t, dispelling myths such as the idea that love is synonymous with lust, self sacrifice, or mere karmic attraction. A provocative book edged with some sharp opinions (such as, say, that promoting and selling sexy pictures of oneself is little different from being a prostitute) but the ideas written herein attempt to address soundly such important concerns as to why America’s divorce rate is so high, and what to do about it.THE Quest is recommended reading for any adult who is seriously considering marriage.
